Most of the awkward conversations were with cops.

My folks didn't know I was bi when the HIV test bill arrived. It was because of the test that she asked what I was up to, not cuz I was bi.

Had to be when the husband and I and my oldest daughter, and son came in from doing some Christmas shopping, and almost stepped on hubby's little brother and his girlfriend going at it under the christmas tree! Well... when it comes right down too it I guess the most awkward moment for me, since I came out, was really the other day. At work, I work in a souviner shop, these two guys came in. They look around awhile and one asks... Is this where Burbon St. ends or is there more beyond here. I started telling them how there were still more bars at least 3 more blocks... then we got into the conversation about New Orleans and its culture... mentioned how I loved the fact that many types of cultures were accepted here... something you just dont get everywhere.
