It needs a brand name. I suggest "Illuminous Bituminous."

Glad you like Peg--I know that some people raise a fit when something gets posted up that isn't about sex---but as you know---as much as I do enjoy sexual stuff---I also have many more interests than that and when I find something that is kinda neat--at least to me--I have no problem in sharing since like I hope that most of us who are here---I am not all about sex all the time.

I once had a dream about stuff like this - if you looked REALLY close at the environment you could see thousands of little nanotech things doing stuff in the background like creating fluorescent lighting at dusk and cleaning the pathway.. What was really cool about that place though was that unlike where we live, technology was not a status symbol/center of the universe - it was all around you but it was in the background, a tool and a small part of a whole society.
It made a huge impression on me, because they had this great, ubiquitous technology, but that's not where the focus was - what really mattered in that place was people, and living life, and being connected to others..they took time to care.
Still, this is pretty cool..I didn't really think there would be anything close.. "starpath" eh?

I remember that story when it first came out---it was a very nice piece and one of those heartwarming stories. At least not everything on the web is all bad news, people doing stupid, mean or vile things and other such negative things.

There is a type of lichen, iirc, that glows in the dark. Have suggested to wife we grow it on
a bathroom wall. This way we would have a night light and ample light to see for using bathroom
in middle of the night. The notion of flicking on electricity just to take a whiz seems a bit silly to
me.
