I think you're missing an option. Some people don't go out to meet people with the intention of having sex with them. Sometimes it's about meeting the people first, and if sex happens, then that's great, but not the goal.

Even though I voted here, the online option being my method of choice, as Melody just said...my intention, or motive, is not to meet simply for sex. I am actually wanting to meet someone to strike up a friendship...a relationship with. Yes, sex is part of the the goal or desire...but not the only goal in mind. That having been said, I have not had much luck as it seems that everyone just wants to get together for a blow and go. If that's what I wanted, I'd be lurking on CraigsList...or perhaps in an adult bookstore. Yuck.

Anyone here have suggestions as to where, online, to find other "like minded" folks? Thanks!

Missing one option, none those worked for me, need a option for "meet by pure dumb luck that a conversation with a friend just happens to go there that we discover eachother" I had better luck that way then online, all online here in this area are game players and bull shippers!!

It usually starts with a hello, but as Melody said, you meet a person, saying hello to someone doesn't often lead to sex with them. If by chance you happen to hit it off and it leads to something more, fine, if not, also fine, it just feels good to be nice to folks.

Almost "all of the above" for me. In the past it was friends (bi curious school mates), later it was a girlfriend and i looking in the Village Voice personals for partners to join us. I work on cruise ships as a professional musician and met lots of drunk hot people (swingers and people just letting loose where nobody knew them)....today it's places like this, Craigs, AFF, etc.....rarely go to bars or clubs, although it's tempting.....
