The Joy of Gay Sex,
This book is very informative covering just about everything you can think of in alphebetical order. It covers STD transmission, positions, first time issues, it only briefly discusses bisexuality but is still a very good read with excellent information. This book is gender specific for men.
Please post any other books that you find usefull, I have just about finished this one. I would like to find something simmilar with good basic information on bisexuality and the problems we face.

"Bi Any Other Name" by Loraine Hutchins and Lani Kaahumanu
It's an anthology that covers every aspect of bisexuality. it was the first book I read after comming out to myself.
For entertainment value "Rubyfruit Jungle" by Rita Mae Brown
For comming out, "Outing Yourself" by Michelangelo Signorile. It's a step by step instruction manual on the process of comming out. It's mainly directed towards gays and lesbians. but it does mention bisexuals as well.
Those are my "must read" books.

I found this book to be VERY helpful for me. Mainly because I could relate to the personal essays that people wrote, and while there was a bit of a bias in just who wrote essays (for example there were no essays written by african american men discussing bi black men that are on the "down low"), there were egnough essays from various other people to make up for it.
I found it to be very helpful and it was refreshing reading personal essays from previously gay identified men who discovered their bisexuality later in life, bi bears (grrr!), bi drag queens, a FTM bisexual, bi women, and people from all walks of life, countries, genders, and races.

The Joy of Gay Sex is definitely written for men, but a friend gave me a copy when I was first getting into anal and I found it to be very helpful on that topic regardless of gender. Other stuff in the book that is guy specifiic was just interesting. lol I'd definitely recommend it.

I also read a book called come out fighting, it had a bunch of articles writen by famous gay figures and also a few from anti gay figures. I also read a book on parenting for lgbt people but it is mostly for gay and lesbian people. I will try to dig up the tilte on taht one.

I would mention "Getting Bi: Voices of Bisexuals Around The World". I think it's an excellent anthology that looks at bi people and their experiences, their triumphs and difficulties, from writers from all over the world. It's especially interesting to read of the life stories of bisexuals in countries and surroundings totally different than mine.
I'm admittedly slightly biased as several friends and one ex of mine (who remains a good friend) were writers. :-)
