I know it may sound gross for some,but I think it could be kind of hot if I truly love the girl. I one time had sex with a girl and there was a tiny bit of blood. The girl freaked out and was embarassed beyond words.I think I was more confused than anything so, I have some questions. Are there any pros and cons? is it safe? ok well, my husband and i have sex all the time when i'm on my period. neither of us really care. there are a lot of guys and gals who find the idea horrifying though so it's really all a matter of preference. one thing that we like about it is that there is extra lube and that the chance of me getting pregnant is pretty much non existant. i don't know if i'm the only female who this happens to but, my flow also slows down a lot after i have sex. unfortunately though...it can obviously be a MESS. if we do it we always make sure we have some baby wipes nearby and a towel to put under us, just in case.

as far as i know it is perfectly safe to do it. the ony thing is that some women are more prone to getting infections while on their period so if you do decide to do it, it might be a good idea to wear a condom to prevent as much bacteria from going into her as possible.

I have done it and it feels great. I have come to realize that right before my period, during my period and right after my period I get aroused more easily. You just have to be extra clean.
I think part of the issue here is the traditional notion that the period is something dirty and that women should be kept away while they have it. They are untouchable, something gross. Of course, that is a misconception, and the idea that women themselves have to feel "ashamed" of their period is as well. Surprise, surprise, the period is not an illness! It is a perfectly healthy and necessary body function. Now, this does not mean that you have to have sex while you are on your period, if that is something that does not turn you on. I personally think sweat is a turn off, and that is healthy as well.
Basically what I am trying to say is that we should demystify the period and not make a huge thing out of it.
And also, before I forget. It seems to me that sometimes the idea of not having sex during your period comes from the fact that we still reduce sex to penetration. There are many sexual actions that can be performed while on your period that do not involve the menstrual fluid, if that is what grosses people out. But the fact that many couples refuse to have any sort of sexual contact at that time to me means that the rejection is more general (the period as a sign that the entire woman is and should be untouchable, even emotionally), and that is a myth we should try to rectify.

Depends on the period itself. I've done it before and had no problems. Some days are very light. If we're both in the mood and nobody minds, why not? Other days, it's a little more messy and quite frankly on those days the last thing I feel is sexy.

I'm happy to engage in other activities if a partner doesn't want to engage in intercourse during that time of the month. I certainly don't hold it against someone for not being interested, but you'll also get major cool points if you don't think it's that big of a deal.

Recently we opened our relationship so the possibility that I might find myself in that situation has come up again, and I am still not too concerned about it. Not sure if I'd want to go down on a woman in such a state, however, but that would probably depend on just how messy things are in that area (i.e., low flow and recently washed, probably not a problem). I never have had intercourse involving penetration. Mainly because I have endometriosis and and during my period it would be rather painful. But that is not to say that my boyfriend and I don't have sex. He mainly sticks to clitoral stimulation.
