Facts Ive Learned:

Theres NO lesbians in Penticton, BC
There are some gays.
There are pently of bisexuals although not all of them are out.

There are NO gay bars at all.... not even Kelowna, BC, which is about 55 mins from Penticton.

There are people on this board that live near me but none of them are women..... (if there are, prove me wrong!!)

There is no point in posting an ad on dating sites cause most people are in Vancouver and aren't interested in someone 5 hours away.

Penticton
- To expenisve
- To many closed minded people
- To many snotty people
- Never heard of deaf people (unless your old)
- VERY HARD to make any friends except at work but they are just being nice.
- Theres no gay bars and theres no gay people and if there is, they are hiding.

I REPEAT PEOPLE.... DO NOT COME TO PENTICTON. ITS A BAD PLACE!!! :)

Ahhhhhhhhh someone kill me please? :)

I need Ontario.... *gasps for air* Ontario.... *falls and dies*

(YES Im bored... Yes this is a meanless ramble.......)

Ive been applying for jobs in Ont but so far no call backs :( If any one in Ontario works with data entry or needs a cashier... let me know :)

:):):tong::tong::tong::tong::):)

Just wondering if you've contacted any temp agencies? They often have quite a bit in the way of data entry jobs as well as cashiering jobs and other jobs and a lot of companies will put ads through temp agencies looking for someone for temp to permanent positions. This benefits both you, the temp, as well as the company, in "trying" each other out.

When I first moved to Las Vegas, I had an awful time trying to find a job, because it is such a transient town and *no one* wants to hire the *newbies* LOL...I finally went with a temp agency and worked with them for a while and got hired on permanently with a company. From then on, any time I was between jobs, I went back to that temp agency and they would always have me working in a matter of days, sometimes within hours. Great way to meet a lot of different people as well (when you're new in town), especially if you do successive shorter-term temp jobs. I've made a lot of friends to this date through my various temp jobs. Also, a lot of temp companies will train you (for free on your part) on different software if you don't have experience in, say, Excel or WordPerfect or something like that.

Just my :2cents: Good luck to you!!!

The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence (or Ontario)
Life in rural ontario is much the same as BC
I think the girls (lesbians) in the small towns cant come out.
Bars same thing hard to have GBLT bar in a small town.
I think the internet and sites like Bisexual.com really help connect like minded people.
Of course if you want to go to a major city like Toronto, then you can fnd all the like minded friends you want..+ all the crime :2cents:
