well to put it lightly i am at that crossroad, although most of my close friends already know this, some for years, i have no idea how to inform my significant other and i know she will not accept it. I already know that this might be a relationship killer and im ok with that i just wanna start being honest I guess.

Took me 10 years of marriage to tell my wife that I was bi, and she actually accepted it. I congratulate you on wanting to be "yourself" sooner... there are many opportunities I can look back on that might have been different had I been open and honest sooner.
If it kills the relationship that you have now, accept that and allow your partner to move on... but hopefully things work out for you.
