I am new to this website. I love the forums and threads that come along with it. However and correct me if I am wrong...(won't be the first time) When in chat, Casual sex seems to be rampant. We as the bi-sexual community, I feel are the most educated as far as ....Dare I say it..........STD'S. We are blamed for the spread of all of them. I have researched it. All I ask is think before you dink! Be safe and have a great time....Peace

well a lot of times in chats people also make up stories... i for one do not have casual sex.. with the chance of an std and getting preggers i'm not chancing it.. my little sister did and well now has a 2 yr old and an std.... double whammy. but i for one want to be with a partner i know and trust and know i wan't get something like an STD from them.

It was misunderstood (maybe), mainly because your original post was far from clear. It seems you are saying that casual sex in the chat room bothers you because as bisexuals we shouldn't do that as we get blamed for spreading STDs.

the bulk of the bisexual site... knows the dangers of unsafe sex.... and protect precautions..... it may be causal sex.... but its protected sex......

as for blaming the bisexual community for the spread of stds.... its like blaming the pope for christian hypocrisy..... there are the ones that make us look bad, there are the ones of us that are * bad * and there are the ones that just love to listen to the stories of others, doing what we don't....... but read most of the profiles and you do get the general idea... that its about causal sex, not constant risk

Dave honey, a thread such as this one is Bound to take a bit of humoring and parody. It makes a very serious situation a bit more soft, and easier to deal with. Maybe what you wrote was taken out of context, but our comments werent meant as any insult towards you. We just have a weird sense of humor here. I personally was a tad confused as to what your true meaning was, so I did my normal bit, and made light of the situation.

I think that most chatrooms you find anywhere on any site is going to have casual banter involving sexual inuendos and such...it's kind of inevitable. Just cause the majority of us are bisexual doesn't mean we are going to start dinking around with everyone we chat with...unprotected at that haha. Lots of good folks here with fantastic sense of humor... I strongly suggest you get used to it... Don't take too many things personally cuz then we'd all be at each others throats over things that are sometimes just funny... If you're going to go into the chat room you're going to have to remember something. This is a "sexually orientated" site. Just because some of the people who frequent chat like to have sexually explicit chat and get their rocks off doesn't mean everyone is like that. And just because some people go in there and have normal everyday intelligent conversations that everyone wants to.

Id much rather see people cybering in the chat rooms than going out to parks in the middle of the night to have a quickie and I'm pretty sure everyone knows the dangers of STD's if they chose to do so. We all think for ourselves dont we?

Cyber, well that's just bytes - and to be honest I don't have enough hands to make it really useful..not to mention a lot of times it sort of seems like the equivalent of some random guy rubbing up against you for no good reason in the bar.
