{first i didnt think this would go for so long sorry }

Hi hey I have had some many people email me to say they like the last thread I did, thanks it wasn’t meant to turn into what it did but hey who cares it, was a bit of fun for all.
This one is about religions. Ok you say I wouldn’t do that one, well stiff titties I’m going to. If you can’t handle what you believe in then you should change your point of view.

Now first ill say what I believe in is the most unbelievable one out there, but in my defence it’s not a religion.
It’s a state of mind. In your mind.

I know of a rapper who is a good friend of mine his name is genocide
His cds are about how life was when he was a kid and now, about the life he had in his home town.

Quote from Webb site
Before you think why did I use all this, and did I ask him for it all. Yes just got off the phone at 1038am nz time
He said yes go ahead but no money gimmicks of any sort.
{All of his old songs are on the net is up from free}
hey ill say first i dont like rap but this stuff is true to life thats why i respect him.

At this site www.genociderap.com

Genocide Real name jusuf was born in Bosnia (Former Yugoslavia)
In 1992 as a young child he was trapped in the brutal conflict that
Over took Yugoslavia. His home town of Zvornik was one of the first
Places to fall under attack and resulted in the murder and ethnic cleansing
Of the entire Muslim population.
Genocide watched from the hills as the tanks shelled the city
And as The Paramilitary forces moved in to cleanse the once beautiful
And multi-cultural city.

After managing to escape Bosnia, He arrived in Austria where
Thousands of other Bosnian victims had fled.
After a few months there and visibly traumatized by the war
He was accepted into Ireland as a Refugee.

In Ireland, Genocide went to school and learned English.
Being a Refugee there in the mid 90’s had its consequences
And genocide found himself as a target of severe Racism.
But this didn’t affect his love and respect for the country
That offered him and a lot of his people a 2nd chance.
It was during this time that Genocide discovered hip hop.
He soon began writing his own songs and selling tapes around
The area where he lived.

In 2002 after finishing high school he moved to New Zealand
To work for a year but ended up staying.
He still continued to write songs and in 2006 Genocide
Was ready to spread his music.
His stuff is about his life and what he saw while he was at home

All his music has been for free download on the internet
As an MC that speaks about the pain and ill treatment of people
Around the world, his priority is to get the message out first.

In 2009 we see the Release of the first and Official Genocide CD
“Ths Psy – Op Mixtape”
{Which I have a copy sign by him and it’s a one and only sign copy of the original album apart from his one}

Ok after you have read that. You may ask what that has got to do with what this threads about, well religion. That’s it all, the massacre he saw and went through, was the worst thing he had ever seen. What he has told me made me sick {and not much can make me feel like that}
In the bible it says that this book will cause war {not quoted}
Ok that’s a great thing to see and read from the book of god.
Hey I’m not poking at god no way.
Why can’t many cites and countries just are happy with what they believe in, and leave others alone.

In a UK comedy I down load one day there were to guys sitting around talking about how they were killing muslins and so on, for the bare fact that they thought they were right about their religion and the other guys says
{Quote} why don’t they just believe in what they want and stop fighting each other?
I laugh because it was funny, but then I thought its true, what a bunch of fuck wits. Just leave each other alone. In the words of a great song {LET IT BE}
Great words right.

I was also told that the Vatican has a lot of books hidden in there like all of the predictions of Nostradamus, and one that says that if it got out to the public then people would stop believing in religion. Come on its meant to be about ufos and stuff like that.whos going to change how they feel if they did let it out.
Also what’s this about birth control the pope says to stop using condoms, why does he want more children to praises him, I bet if half the world knew who he really was and did I bet you wouldn’t think he’s the man of god.
but he’s not the only one back in Japan the christens ran around converting Japanese and all they wanted was to left alone lol funny that how we today still wanted to be left alone, it started back then and it’s still going now.

Look I’m not jabbing at just this lot even what I feel is right has a few bad ass and that makes me sad but atlest we believe in the same thing.
And we don’t need a book to help us understand it lol. {A book that’s been change and cut so many times how can u believe in that?}
I’ve seen the first bible {it’s on the net} and I don’t see how they can get it as small as what they have in now days, when it was as big as it was.

anyway lets hear what you have to say
im sure others do to

cheers lotus

p.s if you would like to listen to or get some of his music or if you would like to send any emails to genocide.
pls email me on here and ill help you out

I say.... let's lay off all the religico, politico posts for a while. Its not healthy to keep ones panties in a bunch for an extended amount of time.. Sometimes you have to wash em clean, stretch em out and let them become fresh and new or else suffer infection . There are many beautiful and quirky things in the world . I am sure you could create your own politico religico bisexual forum/blog somewhere else. I went through your own pasts posts and fail to see much positivity or information.

just :2cents: to spend as you wish.

You have to remember that religion is not always the real cause of why people are harmed by it. consider it more a symptom. like you stated the bible and many other religious books as well have been changed. sometimes to suit the "person(s)" wants.
the good thing about religion is that a group pf people who have common beliefs get together(church) to practice what they believe it the "truth". this is not always bad. a group of people beleiving in the same things doing thier best to make things positive in thier lives and others lives in the name of thier God(using as an example so i hope i do not insult anyone). i have seen the positive side of many religions. charity, love, understanding, sharing.
but yes thier is the darker side where a group of people usually run by one person seem to warp the words of things to serve thier evil purposes and anybody getting in thier way even thier felllow man can get tortured and even die. it is not acceptable to me either and fortunately i live in the USA and can air my complaints and not be killed for it.
though i no longer practice christianity the one thing that i always say to myself and others is this despite the pain and horror that people in a religion may cause and even those who are not religious.......
LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
you may not like someone but you can still love them even from a distance and hope the hell that they one day realize what they are doing. can you change them? no.only people can change themselves, but you can still embrace them in your heart and hope for the best. maybe even do something about it in some way from a distance too. by showing that YOU can are the better person without saying so just by living as a good example to yourself and others.
i am no angel but despite my issues i honestly care about others and not just myself. i am very charitable and help others not for attention, not to get anything back, just to help when it is needed the most even if just talking.

No subtext, I just find it hilarious.

Smiles!! :bigrin:

And who has the most power? The cat? The gerbil in the tank? Or the owner of both, who can pick the cat up, and put it in another area of the house? ;)
